Panera Bread - Oakville

Seemed to be a popular spot, but for a vegetarian its not ideal. paid $15 for bread, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, cucumber & avocado. told this was their Mediterranean sandwich, one of their only veggie options.

Panera always serves fresh quality food. The pick 2 option gives you a wide variety of choices. My favourite is the tomato soup. Service is excellent and there is a nice comfortable vibe.

I usually enjoy Panera for lunch when travelling in the USA and maybe once or twice in Canada over the years and normally it's quite good. Yesterday's sandwich was probably the worst I have ever had anywhere. Frontega chicken panini was TERRIBLE!!!! Firstly the bread was hard and not good at all, there were literally three slices of chicken which although they said was smoked pulled chicken it looked and tasted like it was straight from a grocery packaged deli meat. There were 2 onions, some not so fresh lettuce, and a dollop of sauce. I tossed half of it in the trash. They charged $10 for it...service was average at best, the girl at the counter appeared to be annoyed and was less than helpful. Definitely won't be back to Panera for awhile especially this Oakville location on North Service Road. Disappointing lunch!!!!

The food was very good,as usual. The staff were attentive and friendly. Excellent service. While the dining room was very comfortable, not all the available tables were clean. The store closes too early. I'll return.

Eaten at Paners Bread across north America, this one does not disappoint. Freindly staff, great food. We always look for a Panera Bread, when travelling.
