Oakville Temple Bar

Why would a place that touts itself as an Irish Pub have English cider ?? When there's good Irish ciders available even Magners.... they have Guinness and Caffreys (although not sure they know how to pour Guinness properly And London Pride ? Same stuff as the Queens Head in Oakville Menu is typical both in variety and quality Could have been a real winner but unfortunately missed the calling Temple Bar - not even close

I would love to give this place a better rating. It would be higher except I found the online photo of what the pub actually looks like to be deceptive. Don't get me wrong, the pub is very nice, but for someone who has visited many actual Irish bars in Ireland, this is not one. Good prices, good specials. We only had the spinach artichoke dip and it was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. My issue was the bar was practically empty and it was a bit of wait for drinks and food. I definitely recommend this place. I believe we just caught them on a bad day.

Noticed this place a while back and thought I'd check it out.The décor is okay, looks like a good bar. The beer list is pretty good, food is not bad. The burger is okay and the wings are what you'd expect at any pub. Price was middle of the road. It was a little bit of a slow night I guess and service was okay. Parking is pretty good in the strip mall it's in. It had a few TV's for watching the game. All in all not bad but there are better places closer to me.

Talked away in a shopping center on Winston Churchill between Oakville and Mississauga is this great little pub. I would definitely recommend the Classic burger especially on Wednesday when there's nine dollar special. My work associate had the grilled cheese and he said it was very good. This place is a diamond in the rough. If you live in the area I would definitely go there for lunch

Excellent pub with very friendly and efficient service and great food. Whether I have been in a small group, solo or part of a large group, the Oakville Temple Bar has been a great choice. An added bonus for us is that they are situated right in our neighbourhood so they are just a short walk away!
