The service was outstanding and we felt very well taken care of. The Bratbeef and fresh oysters really enhanced the overall experience. The desserts were also delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
I brought my family of 18 people here for Easter brunch. The price has gone up every year and it is now $49.95 per person. The food was decent, but the service was awful. The server completely ignored us and there were dirty plates piled up on our table. I had to clean them up myself. We couldn't get the server to bring us more coffee or water. To make matters worse, there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill. We will not be coming back.
The restaurant is not well-known for being open to the public. I have been there for breakfast and lunch, and both times I enjoyed the food and the service was great. The location with a view of the eighteenth hole is also impressive.
We decided to celebrate the 20th birthday of my son with a brunch in eighteen when we like to brunette. I called on Friday and was very surprised that they could fit us in the short term. the hotel is located on the grounds of the glen abbey golf. Of course, kanadas most famous golf course, eighteen every Sunday between 11 and 1 o'clock offers a brunch, but we stayed a little longer and never rushed. our server, brand, was very competent and friendly and attentive to keep coffee and water glasses full. the large glass windows look over the eighteenth hole and the view is beautiful and quiet. the food was fabulous and fresh and there was no lack of something: a complete seafood buffet, the king crab legs and smoked salmon, an oyster bar, omelettes made, a Belgian waffle bar, carver, chefs sign salat, entrees and desserts included. nothing was spun and the chocolate covered strawberries were my favorite along with the cheese cake selection. at $36.95 per person (adult) it seems expensive, but it is definitiw the money worth. in any case will be back and may recommend the restaurant for families or for a group of friends. if they let the restaurant starve, it can only be their own fault!
I had a last minute family brunch to organize for 9 people and I called Eighteen at Glen Abbey the day before Easter Sunday brunch and they were so accommodating and managed to squeeze us in. The brunch was amazing, filled with selections of fruits,...seafood, meat, desserts, and pastries. There was no leaving hungry! Our server was very friendly and patient with the younger family members, this is a first lass brunch, with first class quality.
