Wing Wah Pho Ga - Oakland

The best bánh cuốn in Oakland! I've grown up eating Vietnamese food, and this really satisfied my cravings. The prices are reasonable too.

During my work trip, I must say that this is one of the best pho broths I've ever tasted, if not the absolute best. The chicken with ginger sauce was also outstanding and definitely the highlight of the meal. My only regret is that I didn't have enough room in my stomach to try the rice rolls, which are rarely found at pho restaurants.

This restaurant feels just like home! The chicken is fresh and has a vibrant yellow hue from the turmeric. The broth is light and seems free from MSG. My soup came with five generous pieces of chicken. The vegetable plate featured lightly cooked sprouts, just as my mom likes them! I also adore the rice rolls—I've never been able to make them well on my own without my mother's guidance, so I'm thrilled to enjoy them here as takeout. This place is a wonderful taste of home!

My baby was so sick. Throwing up, just feeling straight blue.. I live 1.5hrs away from him.. But that didn't stop me from hopping in my car and going to get him some warm soup and a lil love before I had to rush back home to get my daughter from school. The things we do for love, am I right? I had been wanting to try a Pho place by his house but we just decided on this restaurant we had been to once before. I arrived and all tables inside were full and it had to be like 1030am. I got him a chicken soup but instead of noodles I got him white rice. Then I ordered the pork chop over rice. Sadly they forgot my eggy, that's okay. The broth they gave my man I thought had a lot of flavor. My plate was good. Pork chop cooked thoroughly. I just needed some salt/pepper or something for my rice. His chicken was really good too, not overcooked or dry. Service was nice. Food was good. I would be back and recommend to anyone in the area.
