Ruby Q Smoke Fusion - Oakland

I'm so happy to find Ruby Q by chance on Goole Map. We ordered 3 way combo, spare ribs, brisket, and chicken. All of them are delicious! I also like their potato salad. I want to try seafood gumbo too. Since I lile dry BBQ too, I'll ask them to set the sauce on the side. Thanks, Ruby Q! :

Got here late on Mother’s Day yesterday was greeted warmly by a gentleman who told us they had limited offerings remaining but that he would make up what they had: Ribs, Potato Salad Baked Beans. I am Texan okay? We do not play with BBQ in Texas. The ribs are hands down the best BBQ ribs I’ve had outside of Texas. I didn’t even think it was possible to compete with Texan BBQ in California! Well. This spot makes dreams come true apparently! I now refuse to get BBQ elsewhere. A true celebration of motherhood: sitting in bed gnashing on the heavenly Ruby Q ribs moaning in glee all the way through.

Loved it! Our first time here, had the ribs, sauce on the side, two brisket tacos and the chicken nachos! All of it FIRE!! Only complaint is there was BARELY any chicken on the nachos and what was there was super small chunks. I was expecting shredded or something larger but still tastes great with the beans as the flavor star!

I just wanted to report that this restaurant is no longer open. Was looking forward to some good barbecue
