Montclair Egg Shop - Oakland

Our neighbor breakfast/lunch spot. It’s a cute and cozy cafe offering a very large menu. They’re always very busy but they have a ton of seating so if there is a wait, it’s not long. Staff is friendly and quick, always on their toes!

Below average food and small portions given the price, otherwise good service and atmosphere

It's one of the best breakfast places I've been to in a long time. The atmosphere, especially the service and the food, deserves top ratings. The staff was friendly and attentive. I didn't give the food five stars because I found a small piece of eggshell in my egg whites. I wanted to rate the food 4.5, but there are no half stars available, unfortunately!

Really disappointed with this place. We had to wait over 40 minutes for a table, so I thought it was gonna be THE experience. However food was so disappointing, really plan, nothing special, small portions and a hot chocolate in a glass imposible to hold without burning yourself.

Great place for brunch and breakfast. It's not overly fancy, but it's a reliable choice.
