Momo Ramen - Oakland

Bummer ramen not very good at all. Portion sizes were massive.

Normally we go to marufuku ramen but we thought we give Momo a try. Just stick to Marufuku or any other ramen place in the area. The broth at Momo was super salty without much depth to the flavor. We got medium spicy and but was quite unbearably spicy, and we can usually take a pretty good amount of spice. It may be their one-off day, but it was quite so terrible that we're reluctant to give it another try.

A great place to go if you're craving ramen. As a vegetarian it's pretty hard to find a good veggie ramen but there were 3 on the menu here! I got the creamy mushroom ramen and it was pretty great! I loved the variety of mushrooms that came with it! Just wish that there was a little less of a ginger flavor (only bc I am not a huge fan)! Overall, a yummy spot on a cold day!

Super tasty ramen. Little pricey. But really enjoyed the mushroom veggie. Will def get it again

I 'll keep this short. The service was fine. The food we ordered ranged from mediocre to inedible. For example, the tonkatsu broth seemed to be made with left-over water from a car wash or sewage treatment plant. The tempura dipping sauce had a distinct laboratory odor, like iodine or disinfectant. Ugh. The fried chicken appetizer, which arrived after the main courses were served, was okay.
