The service really depends on the timing of your visit. It seems that during peak hours, the staff may struggle to keep up with the crowd. While I appreciate that there's a live band or DJ adding to the atmosphere, which sets this place apart from others, I do wonder if the cost of entertainment is affecting their ability to hire more servers. If that's the case, I’d prefer to see a slight increase in food prices rather than losing the music. The ambiance and food clearly justify the higher prices. However, good service is essential in any restaurant. Personally, I've found the perfect time to visit when I can enjoy my meal without the rush, and I’m not sharing that secret! Overall, this is my favorite brunch spot in the Bay Area.

So, my 26yo son ate here and said the food was delicious and this was a great spot for wine tasting...He was absolutely correct! The balsamic brussel sprouts were fab-u-lous along with the yams and fried chicken . My husband had the greens, oxtails and macn cheese, which he said were delicious! Oh, I can't forget the hush puppies!...Honestly the best I've ever had! All this plus aglass of chardonnay for under $100!...Whaaaat?! The atmosphere was nice, except for the music, which was obviously gearedtowards a younger crowd. But the food was so good, I totally tuned out the music. Magnolias is a MUST try. I promise you won'tbe disappointed!????????

The service was excellent; our server was friendly and managed both the indoor and outdoor areas all by himself, impressively so. He definitely deserves a great tip for his hard work! As for the food, it was just okay. We plan to give it another try this month. We arrived at 11 AM, hoping to enjoy the ox tails, but they were already sold out, which was really disappointing since that's what my partner drove us there for. We ended up ordering the peach cobbler waffle breakfast and fish and grits. The meal was decent overall. Surprisingly, the peach cobbler waffle exceeded our expectations. The fried chicken and fish were cooked perfectly, but the grits were just average. The biscuits were a nice touch while we waited for our food to arrive. We're really looking forward to trying the ox tails next time – I guess we’ll need to arrive before they open to ensure we can get them!

We visited this restaurant for the fish fry and wine, but both fell short of our expectations. They only offered three wine options and just one fish plate to sample. Additionally, the music was so loud that it was difficult to hear anyone at our table. However, the food and wine we did manage to try were truly delicious.

This place is great. I can't wait to go back. The food is awesome.
