Fort Green - Oakland

I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant. It has a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and the dining experience is excellent, run by a team that previously operated a local pop-up food stand. The fried chicken tacos are amazing—truly a must-try! They also have a great selection of local beers, and the bartender was fantastic and lively. The only downside was the unfriendly person at the entrance, which put a bit of a damper on the experience. However, it didn’t overshadow the enjoyment I had overall. I visited at 4:30 on a Thursday, and if I weren’t leaving the city, I would definitely go back today! I had such a great time.

This place is truly a hidden gem! I almost hesitate to share it with others so that I can continue enjoying their food without large crowds. But honestly, the food is fantastic and the people are wonderful!

I absolutely enjoy dining here. The service is consistently friendly, and the food is served promptly.
