I visited this restaurant about ten years ago and tried their sandwich, and I've never gone back since. I felt compelled to write a review to save others, including my own company, from making the same mistake. The sandwich is incredibly bland and average—definitely one of the least flavorful options I've encountered. The chicken lacks crispiness, and the bread is nothing special. Don’t go expecting a tasty sandwich, though I will say their desserts are quite good.

The chicken sandwich is decent but overrated. It has no sauce and lacks seasoning. The coleslaw is generous but also bland. Given the high price of $15, I can easily find a more flavorful chicken sandwich at a nearby restaurant.

Is it edible? With a glass of water and hot sauce. Dry chicken breast. Unseasoned. “slaw” is just lettuce. If you like fried chicken, you won’t like this.

Classic Oakland staple. Come for the sandwich, stay for the strawberry shortcake. These are delicious and I'll never stop coming back for them.Service is fast. Some years ago there used to be an intolerable line, but now you can usually pick up your sandwich in a few minutes The pandemic may have prompted a change/improvement in their operations.

Delicious chicken sandwiches that are better than that other one that serves chicken fillets! Recommend order slaw on the side unless you plan to inhale it on the spot. Ginger cookies are also delicious.Food: 4/5
