Athletic Club Oakland

My friends and I visited for Sunday brunch, and we had an amazing time. The food, service, and DJs were all excellent. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, and pets are welcome too!

The restaurant was quite busy, especially during the 10 o'clock Sunday NFL games, but the service remained exceptional. Even though we placed our orders through our phones, the staff was very attentive, ensuring we always had water and our drinks arrived promptly. About half of the TVs were showing the Raiders game, but since we arrived a bit early, we had no trouble switching a nearby TV to the game we wanted to watch. The fries were fantastic, and the fish tacos were quite good, but the burger was underwhelming. Given the sporty atmosphere, we weren't too disappointed, and we definitely plan to return, especially for the $5 mimosa deal!

Watching the warriors win the NBA finals here was an amazing experience. Such a boisterous and fun environment. The staff is extremely friendly and super efficient. The food and drinks were great too. You definitely need reservations on busy game days and consider bringing earplugs.

Not one for bars normally, but I can say this place is very nice. Awesome attentive staff, nice surroundings and good people. I was there to watch a championship fight, which I am thankful they hosted. There were plently screens for everyone to enjoy. Their were people watching football, basketball AND boxing with no problem. People seemed happy with their drinks and food. The bathroom was nice and clean... I would definitely come here again!

Wow, I love this place. It's bustling during the weekend brunch (when I went), but the staff tries to do their best to manage the rush. You may end up having to share a table, but if you're looking for a great sports atmosphere, or more importantly if you're looking for a sports pub that serves brunch and loves soccer, this is your spot. Might want to take an Uber or Lyft here though, as even their morning drinks are quite boozey. Not a problem, but the strength of their Irish Coffee caught me by surprise. This is a gem of a spot, and is worth a trek from a ways away even if you're into early morning European football.
