Rendez Vous Bakery Bistro

My only complaint? Getting the check! LOL. But yesterday was a perfect example of why I adore this restaurant. I arrived just after 10 AM, and only two tables were occupied. I snagged what I believe is the best seat in the house and ordered a simple breakfast: two scrambled eggs, a croissant, and parsley garlic potatoes. After placing my order, I noticed that 8 or 9 more tables were filled within minutes of my arrival, and soon enough, the place was bustling just as I’ve come to expect. I truly love this spot—excellent service and delicious food!

Food was great! After a long night of the club? we were hungry so this was the perfect place to chow down. Nothing on the plate.

Had one of their signatures breakfast and coffee. Both were delicious. The interior looked clean and well decorated, but I decided to enjoy something outside weather and tranquility. I came early, so there was only another table outside. Service was great. Look forward to coming back soon.

The fish with almonds is the best!!!! You should try! Small but beautiful place, lively soothing music. With a man playing the piano and singing. Nice voice! The French onion soup is just fine, not the beaten onion soup I had in florida.

I'm a pretty big fan of simple things in life. Good life, good wine, hearty bread, fresh baguettes and good cheese. Since the common denominator to all of the above is France and since France is a flight trip and 7 hours away, I decided to go instead to Rendez Vous. It is a sweet little place, perfect to catch with the guys or take your girl on an intimate date. The Cabernet was ordered in the picture to start with it. This damn bottle complemented the bread, the appetizer, the soup, the main course and the dessert at once effortlessly. Full-bodied, not too dry or sweet, honest to goodness Cab. 10/10. The French onion soup was very hearty and cheesy. Very satisfying. Oh, along with the free bread basket. I wouldn't say that the bread was the freshest, but I can really complain. The Assiette Campagnarde was very good. The land Pâté had a beautiful living taste that I like and the Brie that my favorite cheese is ever sealed the deal. Beef Bourguignon ordered for the main. It was hearty, well seasoned and the potato burr was absolutely delicious. The chocolate dessert was fabulous. I really regret that I didn't get the name of the lady who waited for us tonight 2/19/22 (the nice blonde girl) but she's a superstar. She always smiled, presented everything well, her service was attentive and fast and it was a job very well done overall. Such a refreshing rarity that I would certainly agree with other South Floridars, as we usually have moderate service everywhere. I enjoyed her patient professionalism and the pace of presentation and was more than happy to tap them well. After that, she returned to find out if I had accidentally tipped her that amount. I had to assure her I didn't do it and I enjoyed the experience. Add ethics to a long list of what has proven to be an extremely satisfying experience. Well done. Back!
