Living Green - Oakland Park

My daughter surprised me with a pickup order while I was on my way to Broward Imperial Point. She wants me to eat healthy, so she did some searching and discovered this hidden gem. I tried the Beast Wrap, which was full of flavor despite being healthy. The live green smoothie was amazing, and the dessert was top-notch. This will definitely be my new go-to spot!

I really enjoy this chain of stores, and this location is no exception. I buy my vitamins, crumbly and delicious sugar-free lemon cookies, fresh feta cheese, brown eggs, salmon, and my favorite fruit juice here. I also appreciate their ready-made meals, which include fresh salads, cooked vegetables, and soups from the bar – available both inside and outside. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is excellent.

The restaurant does not require patrons to wear masks, although their employees must. This led to groups of people hovering over the cashier and the salad bar, carelessly breathing over everything. It was noted that the owners had decided to take down the mask mandate just days before the expiration of the order, even as COVID numbers were on the rise. This raises concerns about food safety.

I can’t believe I did’t write before about LG LivinGreen ! In Boca like on commercial Blvd, they dominate the fresh market in broward and Palm beach area. Better than what used to be called Epicure, the high end mini market can’t be more trendy. It’s hard to eat well in Florida, very hard if you don’t know where to go. Living right and for a “normal” price sounds out of this world, lets call it living green, the whole way. People working there are dynamic and loving their job, no need to explain why. I want to know the name of the person who makes those chicken burritos! He or she deserved a big fat diamond on that ring for making me so happy each and every F time!
