A walk into the restaurant was definitely a nostalgic experience. I am not sure if this place is still the same owner when I went as a child, but for the most part with the interior design, menu options and location) it is quite similar. mango sticky rice $8) spicy noodle soup $15) fried potsticker $8) I appreciate how they are a lot of stack Vietnamese dishes usually based on meat based on veggie. I personally tried the spicy noodle that is similar to the hare bo hue) the soup base is super bomb and they also used the hare noodles. perfect for the cold days as now. as for the fried potstickers they were quite bombarded and had great taste and texture, but not something that I would order regularly in contrast to my spicy noodle soup and mango sticky rice and something id very recommend when you pass. the last article I ordered was the mango and sticky rice. As a rule, I'm quite picky when it comes to desserts because I don't have them too sweet. Therefore, their mango and sticky rice are perfect, as the sweetness of the mango is paired with the slightly sweetened sticky rice. Tips: perfect for vegetarians and vegans, but also great for those who are interested in tasty vegetarian and vegan options street parking available on foot to Oak Chinatown, Telegraph, Breitstraße area / lake merrittt family and child friendly for Dine in and take out
I was in Oakland for a show and that was perfect near the show and I was served by the delicious dishes she serves. There were not many people in the restaurant and there were too many takeout orders that the kitchen was busy. The pot stickers and sauce were delicious as well as their Vietnamese soup. More things from the menu and definitely a favorite place for me.
Love for all dishes! Baked rice, clay pot and noodle soup were my most tasty?? Big vibes will be back?
Very reasonable plant-based Vietnamese foods. Service was quite inattentive during lunchtime and flavors were usually mild/lacking. The eggplant pot bowl was wonderful and licky, but everything else was on the Bland side.
Golden Lotus is a homeowner, all the way around! Good service, fresh ingredients, tasty dishes, nice ambience and vegan desserts were the perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Highly recommend, this will become a repeat visit most definitely. You won't be disappointed.
