Holiday Stationstores - Oakdale

I pulled up to a “pre-pay only after dusk” pump looking to pay inside, as I had cash on me. They refused and said it was prepay only. I went in to ask why they wouldn’t let me pay with cash inside, and they said because they “can’t validate out of state plates.” This was confusing to me, as I’ve paid inside of this same store for gas dozens of times, as I live close to it. I explained that I’ve done so, and the woman behind the counter said “well, whoever did that was doing it wrong.” I drive a rundown older car, and I don’t want to say they were stereotyping me by thinking I’d try and run out on the bill, but it certainly seemed that way. I left without buying any gas. Never coming back to this store, or any other Holiday. Kwik Trip will keep my frequent business instead.

The cashiers have always been super helpful. Nothing really to complain about.

Thus is by far the worst customer service and people here. The guy that was stocking the roller grills with glasses walked up to the counter i asked him how r u. He rung up my item and then I was having issues getting my ID out and I asked if he had something to take my ID out i struggling. (I DIDNT ASK HIM TO TOUCH MY WALLET, I ASKED FOR SOMETHING FOR ASSISTANCE! then he looked at me and goes well since ur mouth is running you r not being served. So needless to say this store is the worst experience. I also work in customer service and work with people in a truck stop myself. So I feel you guys keep new employees if this is how each customer gets treated! Sorry not sorry for truth. Rant over!!!

Very nice staff, store was nice and neat. Best part about this experience was the bathrooms were very clean and organized. Best I’ve ever seen in a gas station. Travis was the gentleman working there when we stopped in. Keep up the good work!

Travis is one of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered. I paid 45$ for gas, went to the pump and it stopped at 6$ and I had to go back in and it had returned . Unfortunately that was my last 50 I had on that card and it didn’t return right away so he paid for me. I never had that happen before so it felt good. Thanks so much Travis
