The fries were good, but slightly salty. Overall, my experience with the late night hotel food was decent. The prices were reasonable for hotel food and the dining/bar area was newly remodeled and looked very nice. The food was convenient and decent, and it was a nice touch to receive a phone call to my room when my late night dinner was ready for pickup.
The hotel resembles a refurbished old drive-up motel with outdated and poorly designed features. The room had a slight musty smell and average furniture. The bathroom was decent but had inadequate lighting at the sink. It is recommended to park your car in front of the room's glass door for added security. There was no complimentary breakfast or coffee provided. The window air conditioner was noisy. Employees seemed to take breaks in their vehicles with loud music, which could be heard through the sliding glass door. The hotel is overpriced for its value, even in Chicago. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.
I was searching for a hotel in the area that was not $300 per night and didn't require a major renovation. This hotel fit the bill perfectly! It felt very secure being located in a business district. The hotel is quite spacious, and check-in was a breeze. We spent time in the lobby playing games and appreciated the comfortable seating. The rooms were immaculate, the beds were cozy, and the hotel was peaceful. Parking was convenient as well. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!
The menu and selection have improved since my last visit. While it is not fine dining, it is the best option for food within walking distance. The drinks are good, and while it does not have a full bar, there are plenty of choices available. Andrew is a fantastic bartender and server. Overall, it was a great experience and I always enjoy staying here during my business trips.
The room was average, lacking an iron, and I had to wait about an hour for service from the small staff. There was a bug in my bathroom and the service was limited. The pool was permanently closed for unknown reasons. The overall appearance of the restaurant was reminiscent of Chicago. The price was reasonable.
