Great day by the lake. The food was good. We enjoyed a salad, pizza, mozzarella sticks, and shrimp as an app. The service was a bit sluggish. Had to ask for plates 3 times to 2 different waiters and never received them. Had to also wait for forks after our food was served. Will definitely be back since everything else was great.

We had been going this restaurant since Ralph had owned it. Back in the 70’s. We appreciated the staff and the ability to go eat in the “Italian Gardens”. First, they couldn’t find my reservation, second, I asked for a window table but didn’t get it, third, the iced tea did not taste good, fourth, my chicken parm was DRY , fifth, my husband’s scampi had mushy overcooked paste and the scampi sauce was very thick and tasted like heavy garlic but no lemon. I will say the fried calamari was the most delicious thing we ate. Finally, they kept piling players on the tiny table, didn’t offer cheese for either of our dishes and t he cost was very high for meh food. I hope the owner reads this. If you can’t cook pasta, you shouldn’t be cooking anything.

Views on views on views !!! I have never dined at a restaurant with better views than this place !! It was absolutely STUNNING no matter which direction you looked. Lakefront dining at its finest !! I didn’t want to leave and the food was sooo good especially the pizza. Definitely will be my new go to spot
