King Chop Suey - Oak Park

I really adore this restaurant! Their shrimp egg foo young is definitely one of my top picks, and I particularly appreciate how they make their egg drop soup—it's packed with green onions and eggs, and they don't add any sesame oil. We're so lucky to have this place in our neighborhood!

I used to live near this restaurant and ordered from them a lot. Now that I've moved to Indiana, where there aren't many good dining choices, I always make a point to grab food from here whenever I visit Illinois. It really is the best place for Chinese food, second only to Chinatown, of course.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! On my first visit, I ordered a large vegetable lo mein, and the portion size was huge for just around $7. The flavor was amazing, and I was able to enjoy it over three days! The vegetable egg rolls are also delightful. I can’t overlook the crab rangoon either; the serving was quite generous for the price. I'm so thrilled that this place is only three blocks from my home!
