Chicago Waffles Oak Park

Only stopped in for a brew before heading back downtown. Fantastic flavours of cakes including an intriguing maple bacon. Drip coffee with half& half hits the spot and the staff are super friendly. Great vibrantly coloured place ideally located in the intersection very close to the rail station

I expected more from the omelet, it looked well at the beginning, but it was spicy, and not too tasty. On the menu, there is no specification about spicy on it. The size though is enough for one person. I liked the fruit and the cappuccino. On the other hand, the orange juice was bitter, not good.

I went to bakery but happened to come to diner. : It was very confusing. People were taking pastry to go and the view of sealed plastic bags with croissants didn’t encourage me. I was the only one who took coffee and croissant, and when I set at the table I got diner menu from the waiter : Croissants were good, but I had little confidence that they were cooked locally and fresh. P.S. Thank you for the response. I will give another try and will look closely at breakfast menu. :

Visiting from out of town (though I had previously lived in Oak Park) and wanted to try something local. Was very glad I decided on Courageous; service was fast and friendly and food was delicious, filling, and worth every penny!

Wow, what can I say about this place? It was my first visit, as I'm new to the area. My husband and I stumbled upon this charming little bakery and I couldn't be more impressed. I highly recommend it! The staff was fantastic, offering great recommendations and thoroughly explaining the menu items. We tried the confetti and chocolate donuts along with two lattes, and everything was absolutely delicious. We loved every bite! There are plenty of amazing options on the menu. Plus, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which provides ample space. Overall, I give it a perfect 5 out of 5 and highly recommend visiting!
