Al's Grill - Oak Park

Nice little place. The food tasted pretty good. The service is pretty fast. The waitress is very nice. The skillet was really good I had to order it without the veggies but really good. Pancakes were alright nothing to special but good.

Excellent customer service! This was my first visit, and as a California resident, I was truly impressed by both the service and the food. The prices are great as well. I will definitely be returning. Keep up the fantastic work!

I had a wonderful experience at Al's. We parked in the back, where there are four available spaces. Although they have a nice outdoor seating area with a covered tent, we opted for an indoor booth since the weather was a bit cool. My dad and my two boys joined me, and we all ordered the same dish—the two-egg breakfast—customized to our preferences. It came with a choice of grits or hash browns, and toast or pancakes. The food was delicious and arrived quickly from the kitchen. I nearly finished the entire meal in one go! Our server, along with several other staff members, were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

HORRIBLE Our food was delivered with NO SEASON no flavor at ALL. I CALLED because I just knew there had to be something wrong! I was told by two people, one including the son in law of this 50 year establishment, that they do not season the food! You haveto request your food to be seasoned Im knowing this to be a lie because I checked the reviews before I ordered and all the foodlooked well prepared and had decent reviews but im thinking now it maybe friends and family leaving them. The only decent thingwas the toast that they barely scrapped butter on. We are not into throwing food away but I wouldn 't even feed this to thehomeless. Do better!

We've been dining here since my childhood, and the staff is exceptionally friendly to everyone. The owner is also very kind. They offer a great menu with the option for substitutions, and the food is amazing. No matter where you're coming from, make sure to set aside some time for breakfast or lunch here – I'm confident you'll find something you'll enjoy!
