Let me tell you, I am always searching for delicious and authentic Mexican food, and this place has quickly become one of my favorites! The tacos were generously filled with flavorful meat that didn't skimp on taste. The corn tortillas (or flour, if you prefer) were perfectly crispy, which is a must for me. The nachos stayed perfectly crunchy, which can be hard to find. The guacamole was fresh and full of flavor. I also tried the horchata, which was delicious and not too sweet. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!
I was intrigued by the name of the restaurant, which included "burrito", so I decided to try the steak burrito. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and some parts were burnt, making it inedible. I paid $13 for this dish, which was pricey and ultimately a waste. Additionally, when I requested a side of sour cream for my burrito, I was surprised to be charged $1.50 for a small portion. The lack of other customers in the restaurant may be attributed to the disappointing food quality.
I am giving this restaurant one star for their friendly service, but that's where the positives end. The food is expensive and not tasty. The website advertised a Chimichanga dinner for $9 to $10, but when I arrived, I was charged $18.65. I have never paid so much for a fried burrito before. I ended up throwing away most of the dinner. I only wanted to give this restaurant a try, but no other place in the area charges as much for the same dish. I will not be going back.
I used to love this place! But today I had the worst experience ever! My whole order was wrong after I repeated my order like 5 times. There was this girl that supposedly was helping the cashier to rung up my order but she wasn’t listening she asked the same thing over and over! I won’t go back again. Also the whole menu change and they increased prices ?
I have been on a long and exhaustive search for the best South Side burrito joint.I am sure I may have found it.I ordered a steak burrito suizo at Big Burrito and it hit the mark. The steak was good quality meat, not all fatty or gristle. It was a good size, and the beans and rice were well prepared. Included in the dine in meal was a tray of tasty Tortilla chips, with a variety of sauces. Give the place a try.
