The best cake I ever had. I bought a cake for my wife's birthday while we were on vacation and it was perfect. The ladies there were friendly and helpful and had prepared it exactly when I needed it. My wife described the cake as the best cake she ever had. She said it hit the cake from her local hometown bakery that had been her standard for birthday cakes since she was small and the cake I got her old standard from the water. I chose this bakery because of the high ratings and they were right. If you want an amazing sweet treat, this is the only place to go on Oak Island

I'm not a big candy eater, but I regularly go here because they have the best BAGELS around!! And their baked goods are delicious, so it's my bakery on Oak Island.

Nancy Jo 's Homemade in Oak Island went beyond and beyond today for a birthday delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. I could order a 12-layer cake and lemon bar over the phone for delivery to my friend's house in Oak Island. The cake looks great, and the staff was so friendly on the phone. And my friend said this is the best bakery on the island, so I would definitely recommend it! They helped a pandemic birthday special.

The best cake everywhere! The cupcakes are moist with a perfect crumb, and light fluffy frost.

They made my special needs adult sons birthday cake for his 21st birthday. My son is also a diabetic (type1) they made him a sugar free cake. They were very helpful, courteous and the sweetest people I have every met.(pun intended)
