The lights in our bathroom have inconsistent functionality. The pillows are quite small. In the ground-level room, the curtains don’t close properly. The elevators are out of service, and the ice machine is also not working. None of these issues were mentioned in the advertisement, and there was no price reduction to reflect these inconveniences. We'll be looking for another place for the remainder of our stay.

August 9, 2023: This restaurant is pet-friendly, which is a big plus! The room was in good working condition. Breakfast included a nice selection of cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits, coffee, and juice. However, many of the amenities, such as the elevators, ice machine, and vending machines, were out of order, likely due to ongoing remodeling on the first floor. Fortunately, the second floor is at ground level, making it convenient. The staff were friendly, and I felt safe walking my dog around the area.

This place really needs a facelift. There are "out of order" signs everywhere—restaurant, pool, Wi-Fi (yes, no Wi-Fi!), and the vending machine is broken too. A notice in our room mentioned renovations, but I didn’t see any construction taking place. To make matters worse, the management seems inadequate; they ran out of food for breakfast—there was no milk for cereal, no plates for the eggs, and so on. This obviously attracts the wrong kind of clientele. We even witnessed a guest's dog urinating in the lobby, and the owner just walked away, which was quite disgusting. Why did we choose to stay here? We booked a last-minute trip over a holiday weekend to visit the nearby national park and had limited options. Before you book a room here, I recommend you call and check on the status of the Wi-Fi and the renovations. If they’re not complete, you’d be better off finding another place.

I had requested a room on the first floor, but was instead given a room at the basement level. The initial room we were assigned showed signs of water damage, had only a couple of functioning lights, and the towels and sheets had hair on them. When the makeshift air conditioning unit malfunctioned shortly after being turned on, I asked for a different room. The next room was just a few doors down in the basement as well, with a flickering bathroom light that felt straight out of a horror film. Once again, there was hair on the linens. It had slightly more working lights than the first room, but the view was disconcerting: we looked out onto another lower-level hotel room that had its front covered in plastic, with the air conditioning unit hanging out at an odd angle. It resembled a room that had experienced a fire. Although some lights were on in the nearby rooms, it was still eerie to think guests were sharing space with us in such a rundown area. We were relieved to leave in the morning. On a positive note, the front-desk staff were friendly, and I felt for them working in a place that offered so little to guests. This hotel could have been a lovely place to stay at one time, but it clearly needs substantial investment and repairs to restore it to any semblance of its former self. I have never stayed here before, and I have no intention of returning.

I was very disappointed with my stay! The property clearly showed its age, both in appearance and smell. There was a double bed, but no Wi-Fi, ice, or elevator. Plus, there was no pool, among other things. At breakfast, I overheard another guest say they couldn’t eat their food and ended up throwing it away. On my next trip, I’ll choose a different place, even if it means paying a little more for a significantly better experience. The website did not accurately represent the hotel at all.
