Hillside Coffee House - Oak Creek

This delightful local coffee shop is incredibly charming, and the owner is a genuine breath of fresh air!

What a hidden gem! This bakery and coffee shop is beautifully decorated, with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. They offer games and books for guests to enjoy while they sip their beverages. The building itself has an extensive history, adding to its charm. It's a must-visit coffee shop with delicious offerings!

This is a fantastic spot for coffee and freshly made breakfast sandwiches or baked goods. I've visited several times, and each time the owner welcomes us with a smile and a cookie for every child. The bakery selection is impressive, including great gluten-free options! Some of the best cakes I've had in a long time came from here. The barista bar is excellent as well; I enjoyed their coffee and smoothies. They always take the time to make sure the drinks are perfectly prepared and check to see that customers are satisfied. The interior is beautiful and relaxing, but they also offer takeout options. It's wonderful to have a local gem like this in the city!

We don't get to visit often. But if we're not in a rush after flying into Milwaukee we take the scenic route to Illinois and always stop here for their great coffee and friendly service. Such a cute old school house!
