Labriola Cafe-oak Brook

I was very disappointed at the treatment of my recent visit to la briola! added, it was an additional point night and the place was crowded, but the workers of the treatment of the situation was terrible. being greeted by a long line was not unexpected, but I had a reservation from open table. there were only 2 people who took orders and left one after the order! Now we were on a person, they called someone from behind to command. When we came into register and our ordering tasks, we were told that they were from all specials for the evening, the roasted chicken, the salmon and several other options! that was only a little after 6! the register operator had no idea how the points were credited and when he asked who we saw about our reservation, he looked at me empty and asked “what reservation?” I explained that we had a reservation from open table for 6 at 6:15 he said he had to ask a manager. he never asked my name and then wanted to know if we were all there and what we wanted to eat! I had just finished my order, each one of us had ordered individually so that we had the right order! very unprofessional and a little disappointing. I went to the restaurant regularly in la briola, since its opening in 2008, and the quality of the food and service is in the rule excellent, were even at other events where everything was handled smoothly, but this last encounter was anything but good.

I am used to going to the location on Michigan Ave. Definitely very different atmosphere and service. This location is more self-serve (think Panera). Wasn’t anticipating but the food was still delicious. Ordered the Chicken Milanese Caesar Salad. It’s was very tasty and fulfilling. I recommend this location if you want something quick and tasty.

I have eaten at Labriola many times. The food is delicious!

Cafe service was excellent. The guy taking my order was very friendly, I appreciated being signed up for the rewards program. The bus boys were also very friendly and were great at helping keep our table clean as we went through our many dishes. Unfortunately the girl on the bakery side wasn’t in a very good mood and it showed. With so many options, we had a few questions before making our selections and she was obviously very annoyed. The food was very good, the desserts were just ok and so we thought overpriced. I would still recommend and return.

We LOVE Labriola! Everything about it is perfect! We wish they'd open one in the Woodfield area. PLEASE open one near Woodfield!!!!!
