The Snug Pub - Oak Bay

Waitress told us the entire Oak Bay Beach Hotel was reno'd about 5 years back, and it shows. Beautiful outside and in. Snug Pub is homey, and the views from the windows (or always crowded deck) are just outstanding. The Tikka Chicken is highly recommended. Also, the hotel/pub are situated in a beautiful neighborhood, in case you want to take a walk before/after

I had the tastiest martini I have ever had at the Snug. It had actually bee pollen in it called the Oh my tai, highly recommend it.

It's hard to rave about a burger, but this was THE BEST burger in ages... including those made and cooked by me! Our waiter was terrific; service very prompt and friendly; recommendations made and followed- Nathan knew his stuff! Views were relaxing!

We had family visit from out of town and we took them to The Snug twice in one week, they have a lovely patio overlooking the ocean and amazing views of Mount Baker, eating inside still boasts the same lovely views, the food is great but leave room for dessert, you won't regret it! The service is beyond reproach..

The Snug is at the Oak Bay Beach Club Hotel and is a faithful representation of The Snug at the original Oak Bay hotel from years gone by. A great place for lunch. I had the Ploughman's lunch with an Irish brew that was excellent. The restaurant overlooks the bay and is definitely a great place for lunch.
