Meiga Sushi In San Bernard - O

My favorite sushi spot in the IE. It's tucked away in Highland, next to a ramen spot. Every roll I've ever ordered has been delicious, fresh, and a work of art. I highly recommend trying the plum wine if you've never had it before or just didn't care for others that you've tried. The dining area is a little small, but other sushi places in the area have even smaller ones so I'm satisfied with the amount of elbow space at my table. Fare warning, the miso soup does not have any tofu but the flavors are excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover!

12/23 After covid the prices have skyrocketed. The service is still bad but the only reason why I go back is the food. But for $36-$40 for AYCE I can not come here as regularly as I used to. 5/1/22 I continue to come here because of the food definitely not the customer service, decor, friendliness, etc. This really is my favorite sushi spot because of the recipes. But now I almost dread getting AYCE here because of the customer service. The waitresses are so so rude. It is always busy which is good, but the way they rush you and shove as many people in at a time is not considerate of personal space. My husband and I have found a good restaurant we started to prefer now in rancho Cucamonga 9-11-18 This is my favorite sushi spot because of thier recipes. As far as the customer service it is very bad. I had set a reservation for 20 people on a Saturday but only 16 showed up. The head server an older asian woman with dark black hair made a lot of rude comments about the fact that one table that was set aside for my party was used for gift only. It was my birthday. While we were leaving she kept making rude comments like, why you make reservations for so many people . Only 4 didn 't show up.

Good fish. Nigiri here is better than most. The rice was prepped well. Not a lot of rice for AYCE. Worth the price.

A little more expensive but still quality food. They have started turning out the lights blasting music and strobbing dance lights. No warning! Completely ruins the atmosphere. STOP IT!

2nd time going. Both times were great. Slight wait time (25 min , the food was worth the wait though. AYCE is reasonably priced with great choices. Service was pleasant and attentive. Only problem was single use restrooms made it a little difficult to wash hands if it was occupied by inconsiderate people (on phone walking out after 15 min... .
