A little disappointed after my visit to Maggie Beer's farm.
Drop in on wine tasting weekend. Fab place really buzzing! Plenty of tasting to be had and if you need a feed plenty of choices; walked out very satisfied with plenty of sauces, pastes, vinecotto and sweet sauces ! Do yourself a favor and drop in, you wont be dissappointed.
Heard lots about Maggie Beer's and it lived up to its reputation. A very, very busy tasting/coffee area so may not be able to get a table. However the tasting temptations around the two main rooms allow visitors to try the very large range of chutneys/jams/sauces/etc/etc before buying. Definitely worth a visit, even if you want to just try the tastings and enjoy the peaceful, lakeside experience.
Je krijgt echt het idee dat het allemaal handwerk is en ter plekke geproduceerd. Maar helaas het is allemaal commercie, jammer.
