Royal Nundah The

The royal was a nice surprise. It used to be a dodgy looking fake Tudor pub but is now a lovely Italian restaurant and bar. We grabbed lunch here en route...

Shitty place... we waited an hour to have our food delivered. We waited so long that we where just going to pay for our drinks and leave and when we asked...

Wonderful food and service, had the crab lasagna and pumpkin ravioli and could not fault either dish. Lovely atmosphere, went during a Friday lunch time...

Main meal took an hour after our order, we asked why it took so long, was said that we were very busy while table next to us came later,Haven orders and meals were delivered within half an hour...??

We were quickly welcomed and sitting. The restaurant was busy, but our ducks arrived right away. They were delicious. The mains were ok- scallop risotto had a scallop slices thin like a garnish up. Gnocchi was okay, but definitely didn't go home. The plates took very long to be cleaned. The service started strong, but we were not asked if we wanted a second drink. Overall it was a ok experience.
