Tast Toe B.v. Numansdorp

This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and could use some attention. The portion size is good. The duck breast was well cooked and well presented, but the promised port sauce was nowhere to be found. The little moisture that was under the meat came more from the meat itself than from the sauce. The fries were very chewy, liked our whole table. The white chocolate mousse was good at the top of the glass, but it was completely runny from the halfway point. On top of the crème brûlée, which had a good taste, was a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. Very sweet, but then you get crème without brûlée. I won't get started on the coffee. (Very young) staff stands with their hands in their pockets or walks back and forth without anything in their hands and looks over the tables where something needs to be done. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is zeer matig, met 22,50 euro voor één matig gebakken saté en een beetje nasi. Op het terras werd flink gerookt en er werd zeer luidruchtig gepraat. De service was ook matig. Dine-in maaltijd voor het diner, prijs per persoon tussen de 20-30 euro. Eten: 2, Service: 3, Sfeer: 1.

I come here for a long time and am always satisfied. Service always in for a nice chat and recognize returning guests. Food always good too, recently my steak was cooked a little too far. That was no problem for the kitchen, despite the crowds, a new steak was immediately baked, which was cooked perfectly. All in all just a top service!
