Good selection of beers of which I stuck to Lowenbrau which was fine and reasonable at EO 3.60 for half a litre. I called in here each evening of my three around 6pm for an hour or so. There was always some sort of sport, usually football or Sky Sports News on the TV and the WiFi was good.I wasn't looking to eat here and it doesn't look like they serve food but I may be wrong.
Not your typical Irish bar (Try O'sheas for that) this is more of a sports bar with a slight irish influence. The staff we're amazingly friendly, gave us a free shot to celebrate my wifes birthday and remembered us upon our return the next night.Drink prices are average for the city with a pint/500ml coming in around 3-4 Euro. large selection of drinks and plenty of seating, be warned though that this place gets loud as the ngiht goes on and appears to be a bit of a haven for the younger crowd so don;t be expecting a room full of middle aged irish blokes drinking guinness!
Fantastic wee pub. Wee tried a few round about but liked this one the best. Australian guy behind bar was very helpful, informative and friendly.
Very nice pub with great atmosphere! Sometimes even has some very good live concerts. A bit expensive, though!
Normally I would never, ever, visit an Irish pub anywhere outside of Ireland, but with the Merseyside derby to watch and this place showing it means I decided to grace the Shamrock with my presence. The range of beers was good and the staff were fast and efficient. The clientele is mostly local and quite young - not so much studenty but the majority were under 30.Ideal if you need to watch a Premier League game whilst in Nuremberg.
