Pearl - Novato

My favorite spot in Novato though I?ve always had my orders delivered and have never eaten in the restaurant itself. I love the poke bowls with organic salad. The bbq beef is super tasty and I love the fresh tuna and salmon poke. The large bowl is enoughfor two meals depending on your appetite.

Staff was friendly, and boba tea was good, I had a rice chicken bomb bowl and it was terrible. Nothing had any flavor (except the very sweet peanut sauce). The chicken and veggies were just boiled. They had no seasoning or color. It was such and overpriced meal that had no good taste. The bowl and small boba cost me $16. Terrible.

As a big fan of boba, Pearl is always my go-to spot. My only issue is that it disappears way too fast! The Milk Tea is fantastic—not overly sweet or too rich. I enjoy adding rainbow jelly along with strawberry and mango popping beads. The Thai Tea is also excellent, especially when paired with regular boba. I absolutely love the Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce; it's my favorite in the area. The small pieces are ideal for dipping into the thick, creamy, and slightly sweet sauce. It's always a great addition to my order!

The poke bowl was absolutely disappointing! It arrived cold and tasted awful. The beef seemed like it had been cooked days ago, the rice was hard, clumped together, and also cold. The shrimp and prawns were inedible. We deserve a refund; this was completely unacceptable!

The shrimp spring roll was absolutely delicious and fresh. I've always been a fan of their poke bowls, but I hadn't had much luck with the spring rolls in the past—perhaps they used to be larger and a bit messier. However, these new ones are fantastic—delicious, fresh, and perfectly sized!
