Beso Bistro And Wine - Novato

Haven't been here before. My mother comes with her friends and the Novato Widows Club. Being located on a non-working air force base the buildings are still beautiful with great Spanish charm. Beso's is now on our favorite dining list. The service was perfect waitress was on point. It was busy and she handled it smoothly. Our food came out hot/cold and fresh. Finally real whole tomatoes on a salad. We've been experiencing another local favorite restaurant of ours that has been using less than favorable tomatoes on their salads. Highly recommend

Took my sisters out for dinner here.The people are nice, The service is always good. The prices have gone up, not surprised about that. I was disappointed with the food. It was very tasty, but the portions were very skimpy. My beef tacos had about a teaspoon of meat on them.Not planning on going back.

A friend recommended this place for a quiet dinner catching up with friends. Easy parking out front we visited the art museum right before dinner.Nice outdoor patio/ though we opted inside for dinner. Every item we ate was delicious fresh- portions were good- maybe my fave was the clams but every item was gobbled up completely.Staff were very friendly competent answered questions about items let us linger long after dessert. Too bad they were out of key lime pie that I had a long drive ahead couldn't try their cocktails. Next time! Lovely dinner experience- highly recommend.

I was in this place at least five or six times and every time I come here, it was very good. But this time not so good? I wonder what really changed and I'm trying to put that in words. The food is not the same as before. It seems to be something under the lower part that is surprising. My husband ordered bacon and eggs that seem to be a simple process, but when he got his toast, there was no butter on his toast. They didn't bring spices until he was almost ready. He said the eggs were cold and they really weren't so busy, so I don't understand? But he was really disappointed. I got the lamb gyro coming with a salad. The Gyro meat was dry and I put a ton of salad on what I needed cuz I had a salad? It was delicious, but not the best. The queue that were only two was just okay and they weren't so busy to be better than okay. Like I said they didn't bring my husband until he was almost done? So there's room for improvement, but I hope that doesn't stop us from going there. Maybe we'll try to make dinner at night? Who knows?
