We ordered drinks and to be honest nearly walked out. The place badly needs bringing upto date. We didn’t and decided to order, we didn’t expect the food to be brilliant but to be honest it was. Good food reasonably priced what more can you ask for.
Our dinner was freshly prepared and really fantastic! It has a lot to offer vegetarians. I recommend choosing a few of the smaller dishes so that you can enjoy all that they have on offer.
I recently ordered takeaway from Ghurka and enjoyed the Taplejung Dumbarton dish. It was delicious, although spicier than I prefer. The service was friendly and nice. Thank you once again.
I have visited this restaurant three times while on business in Nottingham. It is not your typical curry house; the food is unique and tasty. The owner is courteous and attentive, and clearly takes pride in their menu. While they do offer traditional dishes found at other curry houses, the owner will recommend trying something new. Trust their advice; you won't be let down.
While visiting my mother in the hospital in Nottingham, we decided to dine at Gurkha despite it being closed on Sunday evenings. The four of us had a wonderful meal, with rice accompanying our dishes while my sister and her husband opted for warm naan bread. I regretted not getting some for myself! Every last bite was devoured, a sure sign of a fantastic meal or perhaps just our own gluttony. We were advised about a malfunctioning cash machine and paid in cash. It was a meal to remember.
