The Castle Pub - Nottingham

Very friendly staff...and the portion sizes are amazing.

I LOVED my visit to this pub. Visiting Nottingham for a gig and popped in after reading good reviews glad I did. Lovely staff, my pizza was so delicious I had to contain myself. Nice and spacious inside, with some boardgames you can pick up and play if you fancy. Partner enjoyed some of the craft IPA. Nottingham castle is right outside too, as well as the Robin Hood statue. So if you are visiting, I recommend this place! :

Fantastic 19th century pub, right next to the Nottingham Castle gatehouse. If only more pubs had as much character as this

Visited this afternoon on a lovely, warm early spring day. Good beer and friendly service. We sat outside, at a table overlooking the actual Castle walls. A great spot to relax and enjoy a drink in this fantastic city. I had a five stars experience, and would certainly visit again.

Beautiful place. staff very friendly, helpful and polite. eating excellent. we've been late at a date and found this place. would definitely visit again.
