Sherwood Manor - Nottingham

I decided to take a friend to the Sherwood Manor. When we arrived, we waited for service as a man with long blonde hair was talking to someone at the bar and blatantly ignored us. When he finally came over, we asked for coffee but were told the coffee machine was turned off, even though it was only early in the day and the pub wasn't closing for hours. We decided to leave and walk out due to the rude and slow service. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment. The customer service was poor and, by the way, the man behind the bar could have used a comb and maybe a bath.

We were extremely happy with our meal last night. The food was delicious, and the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate my friend's dietary restrictions by altering a dish specifically for her. The staff were polite and genuinely willing to assist. It was a fantastic evening, especially considering the low fixed price for the Christmas menu. I would like to express my gratitude. It was a lovely evening overall.

The restaurant has undergone a transformation since my last visit, with a modern and family-friendly atmosphere. The menu offered a variety of well-priced options, including a delicious rump steak and flavorful vegetable enchiladas. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was served promptly. The highlight of the meal was the decadent desserts, which were generously portioned and incredibly satisfying. Overall, my dining experience at Sherwood Manor was delightful, and I will definitely be returning with friends in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming environment.
