I received a soupy pile of Mac and cheese with what looked like lunch meat and bbq sauce on top, nothing else. It was missing all of the bits that I actually wanted to eat, so I asked to return it. The host was super sweet, said no problem, and took down my name and number. I was a little thrown off, because like, I wanted my money back and now my food was gone. She said someone would call me. Shockingly, no one ever got in touch, and I got no food and no money.
This place is a bit disappointing if I am being honest. It is not a brick and mortar restaurant. They operate out of Bar Louie and only do delivery, which isn't really made clear online. They have an address listed but it's for Bar Louie. When you try to call, it's the number for Bar Louie too and they don't pick up. So, we ordered delivery. Pictures on the website make it look great, obviously. For a place that specializes exclusively in macaroni and cheese and sandwiches, they dropped the ball. The Mac is alright at best. I make better Mac myself. The sandwich left something to be desired. I ordered a bacon hamma jamma but they really skimped on the jamma. The photos made it look a lot more plentiful but there was barely any. Really boring sandwich just bread, cheese, and ham. Nothing special. I probably wouldn't order from here again.
I ordered from this ghost kitchen and it was terrible. My Uber driver called me to tell me that they do not have either entree I ordered after waiting 45 minutes to find out that I’m only getting a side order of fries and tots for $55 after fees and tipping. Waste of time and money.
I wish that I could rate them more than 5 stars. The sandwichs look JUST like the pictures. They're huge and stuffed and DELICIOUS. The fries, even after delivery were crunchy and yummy. The flavors are out of this world. We just ordered for the first time, and my family spent lunch around the table swapping sauces and dips and fries and chips and bites, and everyone is excited for what we're going to order from here next!
The last time I was in Baltimore, I was excited to go to Bar Louie until I put my name down on a list to be seated and was asked to wait 15 mins. 30-40 mins later, I arrive back to the a hostess-less hostess stand because they’ve stopped seating and neglected to tell us. This time around, I decided to try something different due to the last experience. Our order arrives and 2 items of our 5 item order are missing. I search for a phone number to call and could you believe this place is also owned by Bar Louie! I believe it, as it’s the same exact service I got last time. Not to mention the other low rated reviews stating that this storefront doesn’t even exist and it’s only for delivery. At this point, I’m unable to request a refund thru the delivery vendor because it keeps leading me to no resolution as I ordered as a guest and not with an account. Once again, disappointed with Bar Louie and now with “Mac and Stacks”.
