You can't go wrong at Conrads. Their food is great. Service is always wonderful. And their Conrad's Lager is pretty tasty. Crabs. Sammy. Dinner. All have been great. I liked the old place better.

Had a great crab puff and the crab fries are terrific.

It was our first time eating at Conrads. My brother and sister-in-law were here from out of town. We know she loves crabs, so we wanted to see what Conrads had to offer. I made a reservation and we were seated when we arrived. Our waiter, Nick, was pleasant but seemed to be going through the motions because his tip was included since we ordered crabs. Conrads offered a Labor Day special of Buy a dz crabs get a dozen free. We ordered 2 dozen medium crabs. My wife and I ordered the Conrad's blend of Cream of Crab and Maryland Crab soup. My wife enjoyed it. It had plenty of flavor but lacked in actual crabmeat. My brother had stuffed shrimp that he enjoyed. My wife and son tasted it and enjoyed it as well. My son ordered Crab fries and the Double Deck cheeseburger with onion rings. He shared the Crab fries with his mother and aunt. They all liked the appetizer. I didn't try it because I don't eat pork, and bacon was a part of the dish. I had a Blueberry lemon crush, and my brother and sister had the Mango and Watermelon crush. The blueberry lemon was okay. I would try another flavor next time. Now, onto the crabs. They were pretty heavy and seasoned well. We also had a half dozen corn on the cob. The corn was sweet, just how I like it. We eat crabs often and are always looking for the next restaurant. Conrad's has been added to the list. The desserts were okay. My sister didn't like her cheesecake. They removed the cheesecake from our bill. I had the bread pudding. I thought it was a little over baked. It could've been the piece that I was served. My son had the brownie a la mode, and my wife had the strawberry shortcake. The cake part was mushy. I would stick with the brownie a la mode if I were to order dessert again. All in all, the experience was above average. Give them a try if you are in the area.

Crabs, crabs, crabs. If you want crabs this is the place to come. Oddly we didn't get crabs for our meal. The combined cream of crab with the Maryland crab was fantastic, some of the best I've had. I got the Shrimp and Grits and it was out of this world. Sweet with some spice, cheesey grits. The captains player was cool because it didn't have fried clams but scallops, crab cake. If you want seafood you can't go wrong here. Service was great, a little time getting to us at first but they were extra busy so understandable. But once she came drinks were always full and plates cleared It can get a bit noisy and a little tight but atmosphere overall is good. Finally, if you have kids and they don't eat it like crabs and you want all you can eat crabs or a couple dozen, don't leave them sit there with nothing to do while you eat crabs for two hours.
