Buca Di Beppo Italian - Norwood

The food was delicious and the portions were very good. We had a lot to take home for later. The service was not too great. Our waitress forgot to bring some of the drinks we ordered and never brought out the garlic bread she promised to bring several times. Overall the atmosphere was good and my daughter and her friends enjoyed celebrating her birthday. We were appreciative of the birthday dessert.

The server we had was horrible. She took forever to come take our food order. I also put in that it was for a birthday, they didn’t do the happy birthday song. The server didn’t ask us if we were here celebrating anything. Didn’t offer desserts. Didn’t offer refills on our drinks when the cups were sitting empty on the table. We had to call her over to take our order while the whole time she was in the area she was cleaning off tables and resetting tables not acknowledging us to take our order. Or even ask if we were ready to order. Didn’t ask us how the food was. Reservations were at 830, we were seated 3 minutes after entering. 845 we got our drinks and we had to tell her we wanted to order appetizers before she walked off again because she didn’t ask. 850 when she walked back in the area we had to call her over so we could order our food. By the time she came back with the appetizers at 915 they were cold. They brought our dinner out at 940 which was also cold and I had to wait another 10 minutes for the side which was the only hot meal they brought to the table. It was the worst experience that I have ever received from buccas employees. I almost didn’t want to tip the waitress because she was so horrible at her job.

I am not sure why the reviews for this restaurant are not higher. We had an excellent time there. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. We reserved the room in the back and they treated us like kings and queens. I would highly recommend this restaurant. (The only problem is parking.... There's something going on.

Treat a girl like it should. I'll take her to dinner and shopping. Great place to eat safely. I love Italian food. Restaurant serves all family style. In other words, very large parts. The food was great. Service was great. All for a great experience. Many remains to have later.. Well done Buca. In any case it is recommended and will definitely come back.
