This place had great reviews. I was a little disappointed. eating is not bad, don't let me do wrong. but it is not excellent either. easy on the expensive side... and they only have banquet options, so no ala carte. I think my steh court was probably the salmon. her tempura softshell crab was hard and the soba was a too sweet tad for my lust. great service!
Sunday dinner, what a great idea. 1st time for my partner at her new location. an excellent job of the staff, especially nick our chef jack. we had the lobster banquet that was huge, eating a lot, coming with a healthy appetit. I like the selection of Japanese bier lovers. leave them space for the black sesam seed Ice-Cream maple syrup dessert. we will definitely come back.
Teppanyaki is all about the experience and at Samurai Teppanyaki House you do get a taste of it. Although not a hugely theatrical show, watching the chefs cook over the hot plates in front of you is pretty cool. Smokey and hot the restaurant itself is quite small and if you like it or not you will get up close and personal with whoever is sitting next to you.... I did find the menu quite expensive especially given the small portion size.
