Bravo's Kitchen - Norwood

Lexie and Lucy went to cafe Bravo and this is how it went. First we arrived, surprised to see some changes to the well known and well loved Cafe Bravo. Now called Bravo's Kitchen, with a funky new menu, we were not disappointed! Initial friendly and accomodating service was promising. The menu was clear, appealing and extensive, with very credible consideration to vegan and gluten free options. The menu items we chose were the tri coloured beetroot salad, pollo avocado fettuccini and obviously a classic garlic bread. They were delicious but I have to say that the servings were very big. I loved the atmosphere in general but I felt like the interior looked fairly sparse as a result of the old Bravo menu blackboards being wiped clear, but the table decor was attractive. Bring back the old Bravo!! Bravo has been a regular of ours for years and it appears it's no longer the Italian cafe we once knew. Looks like there's been a change in owners!! The menu is weird and overpriced. The food and service are average!! Time to find a new regular!!

What a fall from grace for this place. Going back a few years it was widely acclaimed but now appears to have lost its way completely. Went today for lunch, and confronted surly staff who clearly hate the place, lazy table tending and then terrible food. Apparently a new menu but let me tell you, you can't make jam out of ****. Overpriced and dead in the water. Don't do it to yourself.

I understand why the menu has changed, many places are now offering more vegan and healthier alternatives. Unfortunately these new options have left me very unsatisfied and my tastebuds confused. I will probably never come in for lunch again, I might give you another chance with breakfast. Positive change, staff now bring out coffees and drinks for you ! P.s The duck salad was absolutely terrible.

A very below average pizza in a very below average environment. Won't be back... Sorry :( This place really needs to be brought to life... Along with most of the eateries on the parade.
