The Rumsey Wells - Norwich

What can I say about the pie that I have just had! It was the most impressive one I have ever had! First visit and hopefully not the last as the premises is great and the food is equally excellent. Highly recommended if you are ever visiting Norwich

The bartender was friendly and the beers were well maintained with a good selection of ales. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and cordial. The wood fired pizzas were good, but unfortunately, there was no pepperoni available. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Whilst on Holiday in Norfolk, we had heard that Pieminister Pies were being sold at The Rumsey Wells in Norwich. So as we really enjoy eating those pies we headed there and it did not disappoint. The pub is not far from the centre of Norwich and we were welcomed on entry and as it was quite quiet we were told to just find a table we wanted to sit at and then order from the bar when we were ready. We ordered three pies and drinks (The pies come with a selection of extras including Mash, Peas, Gravy etc. all the way up to the Mothership which I had! . Once we had ordered and paid we did have to wait a while as the pies are obviously cooked to order, but when they arrived they were very well presented and hot. They tasted delicious and I was very satisfied that they met Pieminister standards! A very happy experience and would eat there again!

The bartender misunderstood my food order, leading to one pie being incorrect. When we suggested lowering the very loud music so they could hear customers better, the bartender was rude about it. I recommend repeating an order back to customers to confirm, especially when it comes to food orders. On a positive note, my partner enjoyed his pie!
