Strangers Coffee House - Norwich

We haven't been to strangers for 4 years after we were pulled to france. this was our fifth port of call during a recent visit to norwich. what a disappointment. it is clear under new management. no sandwiches or bagels more just dry baked. we ordered 1 bottle of water, a coffee and two baked. the baked were displayed at the theke. there were 3 employees, but the only thing we left with the bottle of water from the theke was the bottle of water as this was self service. the coffee of my man came about 5 minutes later, but less the baked. when I asked the waitress of them, irritated, told me they were coming. When they didn't arrive a few minutes later, I went to the counter to get them. the coffee shop was not busy. the rôle of a coworker seemed only to take the order and not to expand to put the baked in front of it on teller, for us to 5 on our tables themselves. great place if they want a coffee in very slower time otherwise, do not disturb

Always the best coffee and sausage rolls in norwich! but what happened to covid security? while they have a table in the door, neither the 2 employees wore masks and served customers who usually did not wear masks...either, far closer than 2 meters. 4 stars instead of 5.

We thought a morning in august as a coffee and cake. the coffee was excellent and we had to return and order more of the berry crumb since it was incredible. what I really noticed was the very high attention. on COVID prevention that the person worked there, top brands. has a small in-house with 2 small outside tables.

Perfect coffee. smooth frothy milk and strong coffee served at the right temperature complete perfection.

I love supporting independent coffee shops instead of branded chains. Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere and good service.
