Rishi - Norwich

That's the first time I moved away from here. the lamb maras was excellent and the next dishes were good. I will certainly visit again.

I just ate. delivered on time, but warns very hot . somosa, beautiful taste and crispy. wobbly bhaji was nice, but I missed the tamirind sauce they usually get with it. spring roll, nice taste would definitely have again. say aloo was. very nice that it was with the Aloo Gobi. Chicken dansak have a beautiful spice, was not just really spicing. lamb biryani was ok, I had better, not much taste. butter huhn tasted like cocosnuss, I had never butter huhn ever tasted like kocosnuss before. didn't like it. the 3 rice we had were all beautiful mushrooms, garlic and pilua. Garlic-Nan was nice. I'm not sure I'd buy from here again. It was okay, but I deserve that for my money.

Very poor. watery sauce and barely meat. bad taste. never again. I fit the restaurant regularly and it never looks busy.

This review is not about the takeaway curries we ordered tonight, as we did not eat in the restaurant. However, I feel compelled to write a recent review as we have written a great review in the past. We used to be regular customers at Rishi, whether eating in or getting takeaway. Unfortunately, there have been changes in staff and the quality has gone downhill, so we now prefer ordering from Ali Spice in Coltishall. The orders at Rishi are often incorrect, and I even found a piece of metal in my food last summer. Tonight, our chicken tikka was bland and flavorless, while my chicken dansak was overly spiced, had a thin sauce, and lacked its usual taste. Additionally, despite ordering a tikka main, we received a starter instead. We asked for 2 portions of mint sauce but only received 1, which was very disappointing. We will not be ordering from Rishi again, whether it's takeaway or dining in. It's time to look for a different restaurant. This meal cost us a total of £22, but it was a total letdown.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times with friends and family and have also ordered takeout on several occasions, always receiving excellent food and service. However, on New Year's Eve, we decided to have a meal delivered at 7 pm. Despite being assured that our meal was on its way, it had not arrived by 8 pm. We attempted to cancel, but were informed that we would still be charged. Eventually, my partner had to drive to the restaurant at 8:40 to collect the food. Not only was the order incomplete, but the food was lukewarm and not very good. We were promised a partial refund, but were only refunded the delivery fee of £3. Due to this disappointing experience, we will not be eating at this restaurant again or ordering takeout from them, and will also be sharing our experience with others. Perhaps they were understaffed on New Year's Eve, but they should have adjusted their delivery times accordingly. I'm sure we were not the only ones who experienced this issue that night.
