Rafter's At The Catherine Wheel

Currently the best lgbt pub in norwich (and norfolk) everyone with open mind is welcome.

I can't speak highly enough of this pub. I went here one night over the pride weekend after a very bad experience somewhere else. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The pub was full and the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. I absolutely loved my night here and only wish I had gone here earlier. I can't recommend the Catherine Wheel highly enough. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else and would happily go here again. Thank you for a lovely evening. My only critism was a bit of a delay in being served when I first arrived, but the friendly staff outweighed this.

Thought it was a club but actually its a pub. However, we ended up staying for the evening and had a lovely time. Very welcoming and with a nice atmosphere. We were told a few times that this was the best place in Norwich for gays to meet. They have lots of events so check before you visit.

When I was living in Norwich it used to be my favourite pub. Just visited recently some friends and we went to Catherine Wheel still a great place! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Come and have a pint [or more if you fancy]!

Tried the Sunday roast after all the good reviews and tempting pictures and was not disappointed. Orderered a small portion but could have finished a large portion easily. Staff were extremely friendly and more than happy to explain the history behind the pub and show you the well within the pub! We've been told Fridays and Saturdays are good days to meet people. Will definitely return.
