Macarons & More - Norwich

Looking for dessert after a big meal I could hardly resist those giant macaroons they had in offer.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely impolite and unhelpful. When I asked a question about the flavors, I received a dismissive response from a female staff member who acted as if it was too much effort to be helpful. I would not recommend returning to this establishment.

What a lovely little shop this is. The staff are friendly. This was my second visit and was not disappointed. A bit late in the day, plenty of macarons to choose from, also they have Brownies. Took some macarons home for my son and his wife. They did not last long once the box was opened

I have never met a friendlier staff, and they have the best macarons in the world. I make sure to visit this place every time I'm in Norwich. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

I'm sure I've had these before and they were so much better. Uninspiring flavours, some of which had no flavour at all, e.g. the cherry and chocolate had no cherry flavour at all, neither did the vanilla or rose. The actual macarons were too thin and crispy, no chewyness at all, there were also big air holes in them, some of which were filled with the filling, so you were eating mostly filling no macaron. They also taste much sweeter than other macarons and fillings weren't great. Having had macarons from other macaron specialist shops these were very poor. No comparison to Florian Poirot's in Malton. To be honest even the ones you get from M&S are better than these. They didn't look that great either in that they all looked irregular uneven. I can't see how they have so many good reviews, unless they have never had a decent macaron to compare them too.
