We visited here on a Friday was totally shut, no sign of life

Thankyou to the two wonderfull ladies at the Plough to day, who went above and beyond to ensure we had lovely lunch .

A pretty poor experience unfortunately. There has clearly been a lot of money spent on the decor, but some of this should have gone towards the uninspiring brown menu and lack of staff. An overpriced meal eaten under a perpetually paused flat screen TV. One plus was that the rump steak was well cooked, but any restaurant that can't produce a decent steak should be shut down.

Just called in for a pint. Great decor, staff and beer. Dog friendly and everything a British pub should be.

Brilliant, rocked up at 20-40 walked into the bar, made very welcome and offered a takeaway option as the kitchen had finished. Will Definitely Be Back
