The Lord Crewe - Northumberland

We ate here recently during holidays near. I am not sure if the menu was limited because of covid, because the vegan options were just the suppe of the day and the quinoa and beetroot burger. this area is not a vegan hotspot and we were very happy to find this place. I say the burger was absolutely excellent. it was a warm sunny day and the beer garden was a very pleasant place to sit for an hour.

I regret not choosing to dine at The Neptune in Seahouses. The fish and chips were the worst I've had in the North East. I was very disappointed with the poor quality of the food.

I had a wonderful experience returning to Lord Crewe's after a long walk on the beach. The meal we had in the dog-friendly section of the restaurant was absolutely amazing. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I highly recommend this as the best place to eat in Bamburgh. They offer top-quality seafood dishes and great real ale.

The place is amazing we booked for Saturday evening and it was good job we do it was fully booked all evening. The food was amazing as was the service in the restaurant. The only issue was when we arrived having not been before and visiting the area we wait at the bar to say we had a booking the young guy liked at us but didn’t say anything just carried on I guy wearing waistcoat then came behind the bar he ignored us. I then said to young bar man we had a booking he sent us up to the desk where the guy in waistcoat was standing he showed us to the table so was a little disappointed at the welcome. Once seated we were served by two ladies who were great dark hair Scottish accent and the other wearing a white shirt it was them and the food that made me book to return the next night. Welcome was better as we knew where to go and was served by the lovely dark hair lady who again was amazing. Thank you for making our visit to the area super. By the way my husband loved that fish soup you’ll know who we are.

Just been for Sunday lunch. Excellent food, lovely setting and great service. Reasonably priced considering it is in such a popular tourist spot. Would definitely go again.
