Starbucks - Northumberland

This place is fantastic! We make a regular stop here on our way to The Lakes every other week. The staff is great, they are friendly and know a lot about their drinks and food. Always a pleasant experience.

I was disappointed that they didn't have my favorite cake available, but the staff was friendly and the alternative cake I tried was delicious.

I decided to treat myself to a proper coffee instead of one from a self-service machine at the gas station. Unfortunately, the restaurant was empty at 1 pm, which should have been a red flag. The two staff members seemed disinterested as they served me, with Stacey even continuing to use her phone while making a terrible cup of coffee. Despite being open for only a few months, I doubt this place will last. I recommend going to the gas station across the street instead.

Covid precautions in place; handsantizers at the entrance and screens the length of the counter;customers wearing masks and keeping the required distance; I didnt see anyone clean the tables between customers)I used to stop here when it was the 'Little Chef ' but this is a great improvement. Food and drinks available as 'take out 'or 'sit in '.It was late morning so fairly busy. Friendly,efficient service from the two assistants. Bacon roll and cup of tea was just what was needed after an early start!

Rude staff, awful coffee freezing cold, tried to complain but they were not interested. It's not expensive but it's not cheap either, would definitely not come back
