Takeaway dishes from 宝素斋 again! This time round, korean dish!

Bao Su Zhai is located prominently at the entrance of the Kopita court. The two Chinese lady staff members are friendly, helpful, and efficient. This restaurant is a great option for a daily meal. The food prices range from $5.50 to $6.50, which is reasonable considering the high food court rental. We tried their Mee-Hoon-Kuey, dry ban mian, delicious soup, and steamed chicken rice. I particularly enjoyed the texture of the Mee-Hoon-Kuey, which is a healthy dish with plenty of Chinese cabbage and spinach. Update: previous review as of January 22, 2022.

I was surprised to discover that the old stall at this location had been replaced, but I still found they were selling delicious soups, noodles, and chicken rice. I noticed that the new owner uses less spinach in the soups compared to the previous stall. I decided to try the zha jiang mian and also ordered a plate of 3 knödeln. The noodles were not as salty as I am used to, but they were still delicious. I highly recommend adding the dumplings to your order if they are available.

I really enjoyed the vibrant dumplings at this restaurant. The updated menu offers a variety of options including rice, soup, noodles, porridge, and dumplings. I will definitely be returning to try out more of these delicious choices.
